Android is 'winning that war' with Apple

Android is 'winning that war' with Apple

Welcome to a laptop battery specialist of the Lenovo Ac Adapter

I think you missed my point there. Samsung wouldn't have to get newer versions of Android, that's the whole point of forking. They would make their own versions of Android from here on out.

I've been using Android 4.2 on my Nexus 7 and it's very stable. It's not iOS stable, but it's good enough for most users and most users don't know the difference between Android and iOS anyway. I know a lot of Android users who think they have iPhones. Someone even told me they had a "Samsung iPhone."

So Samsung could easily fork Android after a couple more releases, or even after 4.2, because Android is now just "good enough" for most people and if anyone remembers, that's really how Microsoft got their market with battery such as Lenovo 40Y7666 Ac Adapter, Lenovo 40Y7710 Ac Adapter, Lenovo 92P1105 Ac Adapter, Lenovo 92P1109 Ac Adapter, Lenovo 92P1212 Ac Adapter, Lenovo FRU 92P1108 Ac Adapter, Lenovo FRU 92P1114 Ac Adapter, Lenovo 3000 N100 Ac Adapter, Lenovo ThinkPad Z60 Ac Adapter, Lenovo ThinkPad X60 Ac Adapter, Lenovo ThinkPad Model 44x Ac Adapter, Lenovo PA-1900-171 Ac Adapter share, being good enough and similar enough to the Mac OS where it didn't make much difference to most people. It also helped that they licensed their OS to companies that were too lazy to do it themselves.

I'm not saying this is absolutely going to happen, but it's a very real possibility, since Amazon has already done it. Samsung has an array of "S" services that already compete with Google services.

And I'm sure that Apple at one point trusted that Google wouldn't go off and compete with their phone because of all of that "Don't Be Evil" crap. And Samsung is a far less scrupulous company than Google. If you look at their history, they're one of the most corrupt companies in electronics, so why wouldn't they want to screw Google and go off on their own at some point.

We all know that Samsung really wants to be Apple and they can't be Apple until they cut to cord to Google and start promoting their own stuff.

Other than dressing up neither Amazon or Samsung has moved away from Android. Actually Samsung's big success happened with Android. Samsung barely had 15% in mobile market as well as small pie in other but they realized the potential with Android they jumped on it and now they are a huge marketing success. They dropped they Bada OS and focusing in tuning Android to appeal to customers.
